The next seven videos were filmed inside the legendary Bernie Legge Theatre in New Westminster, B.C. a place steeped in history, echoes, and the unexplained.​
NPI has explored these haunted halls time and time again, and without fail, each investigation unveils something new, something that pulls us right back to the stage.
Stage Shadow 1:
Look carefully at the back wall. There’s a shadow that doesn’t belong… and it’s moving straight toward Darryl our founder.
Stage Shadow 2:
We thought that first shadow crossing the stage was incredible until this happened. Once again, something… or someone… made its presence known, as if reminding us we were never alone in that theatre.
Strange White Object:
After one of our very first investigations at the theatre, we uncovered this small piece of footage, that is impossible to forget. Take a look… and tell us, could this be a glimpse of the Lady in White herself?

In this footage, our investigator Ken who sits in the middle, is sitting with his back near the white wall. Yet, as the camera rolls, one thing becomes disturbingly clear: he casts no shadow.

Now, watch closely at the start of this video, the same investigator Ken sits without a shadow. But as the camera slowly pans upward, his shadow suddenly emerges and is undeniable. The question that we now ask is if he had no shadow before, then who or what—was really there with us that night?
Trigger device, Fluffy beep answers
We often rely on our REM Pod, or our trusty trigger device, a stuffed dog named Fluffy to make contact. In this clip, the REM Pod sits silently at the back of the stage as our co-founder Nikki calls out, asking for two knocks in response to the classic "Shave and a haircut." and just like that… it seems we got our answer.
Trigger device, Fluffy Bleeps
In this video, Fluffy is stationed about 10 feet away from where we stand. We’ve set the rules: one knock for yes, two for no. Now, lean in and listen closely. What happens next left us stunned. We couldn’t believe it ourselves.
The next three videos were captured in a place so secret that we can’t reveal its exact location.
Sorry privacy laws won’t allow it. But what we can tell you is this: The setting is a centuries old historic building, owned by a group whose name has been etched into history for hundreds of years. Behind its walls lie untold stories, and what you’re about to witness taps into a legacy as thrilling as it is mysterious.
One beep answer on a rempod
​At NPI, consistency is our silent code. One beep (or knock) for a “yes,” two beeps or knock for “no.” But in this video, things take a pulse-racing turn: a single, unmistakable beep from our REM Pod signals a possible response. What does it mean?
Darkness Crosses Screen
In this clip, a shadow moves sharply and fast from left to right across the frame. At the very same moment, the power dips unexpectedly, and the temperature in the room drops noticeably. The timing is too precise to ignore.

​​​We noted that shadow and found it to be very fast. So we decided to slow the video down. What do you think it was ?
In the next two clips NPI team was invited to investigate activity at the home of a relative of one of our own investigators. With a known history of unusual occurrences, the location already held a reputation. After completing our investigation, we came away with no doubt something or someone is making its presence known at this residence.
All Together
​​​Normally, this would fall under our EVP recordings, but because it was captured on video, it deserves a spot here. As we gathered in the living room of this impressive high-rise condo, planning our next move, a clear voice cuts through the conversation. Someone says, “All together.”
The timing was impossible to ignore.
I don't remember
​​​As the team made their way through the residence, we decided to focus on the hallway. At the time, it was silent nothing caught our attention. But later, during playback, we discovered an EVP that clearly sounds like someone saying, “I don’t remember.”
Occasionally, we’re granted access to a rare and unique location. This particular case was one of those moments. A historic site operated by a government agency. Due to strict privacy agreements, NPI can’t disclose the name or specific affiliation. What we can say is that the activity there far exceeded our expectations.
Blackness Crosses Table Slowed Down
​​​This video we have enhanced due to the very dark quality and speed of video. The blackness that passes over the table took place within a 1 sec time frame. It was captured on a DVR system during our visit.
Every now and then, NPI encounters a residential investigation that reveals little. But then, there are the cases that
surprise us where the unexpected happens, & the evidence in these next two clips go far beyond what we anticipated.
Unexpected :)
​​​This EVP was captured on our video recording, giving us a chance to highlight a few details. Notice Fluffy, the toy dog trigger device sitting next to a vibration sensor. What unfolds not only sparks a strong personal reaction, but also sets off one of those two devices. Can you tell which one?

​​​The NPI team has encountered plenty of strange moments during investigations. Some make us pause and think, others leave us impressed. But every so often, something happens that leaves us completely speechless. This was one of those times. The question is: Did we follow the instructions we were given?
